Samsung’s Good Lock customization suite debuted in 2016, allowing Galaxy users to deeply customize their phones including home and lock screen, recent apps layout, clock face, Quick Settings, and whatnot. However, the app was region-locked and limited to a dozen markets so far, meaning that many couldn’t take advantage of it. Now at least 20 more countries and regions are getting access.
The first twelve markets were Australia, Canada, China, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Korea, New Zealand, Singapore, the UAE, the UK and the US. Now they are joined by Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Malaysia, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Sweden, and Thailand.
The list is incomplete, as we understand that Samsung has yet to issue a press release detailing the scope of the expansion of the Good Lock service. Once there is an official statement, we will let you know.
