The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE will arrive before the Galaxy Z Fold 5, and the Galaxy Z Flip 5, claims a new leak. The hurried launch of the smartphone is reportedly due to the less-than-stellar performance of the Galaxy S23 series smartphones in the international markets.

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE Launch To Take Place In July 2023?

Samsung has reportedly observed a concerning slowdown in the sales of its flagship Samsung Galaxy S23 series smartphones. Simply put, smartphone buyers aren’t lining up in hordes to purchase the S23 series smartphones.

The sales figures are indeed strange because the devices garnered a very positive response initially during their launch. However, after just a few days of euphoria, the Galaxy S23 series sales began to decline.

Some market analysts claim sales of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series smartphones may drop by 20 percent more in the second quarter. If these predicted patterns turn out to be true, Samsung will be forced to launch the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE edition sooner than its usual time period.

The FE editions of the Samsung Galaxy S series smartphones are usually more affordable iterations. This is because Samsung makes some strategic compromises while retaining the core performance and features. Simply put, the Galaxy S23 FE may launch sometime in July or August, and before the Samsung foldables arrive.

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE Rumored Specifications, Features

Samsung should retain the external chassis, camera layout, and display technology of the Galaxy S23 series smartphones for the Galaxy S23 FE. This means the upcoming FE edition should have a 6.5-inch AMOLED display.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is rumored to be powered by the Samsung Exynos 2200 chipset. Samsung may sell the Exynos-powered FE edition in all the markets. The chipset could be paired with 6GB RAM or 8GB RAM. Buyers could choose between 128GB and 256GB of internal storage.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE smartphone is expected to feature a triple rear camera setup, headlined by a 50MP primary camera, which would be accompanied by a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 12MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. There should be a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies, video calls, and face unlock.

Samsung is expected to use the same battery technology and capacity that’s used in the Samsung Galaxy S23 smartphones. The battery inside the Galaxy S23 FE edition should support 25W wired fast charging.
