Realme is gearing up to launch a new smartphone in its GT series soon. A Chinese tipster has revealed a launch timeline for the Realme GT Neo 6, which will succeed the Realme GT Neo 5, which made its debut as the first smartphone to support 240W fast charging.
According to Digital Chat Station, the Realme GT Neo 6 launch date could take place in the third quarter of 2023, between July and September. However, there are no exact details about the launch date of the Realme GT Neo 6.

Realme GT Neo 6: What to Expect?
The tipster also notes that the Realme GT Neo 6 could use an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, presumably the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 SoC. The phone is also expected to feature a 144Hz Flat OLED screen with a 1.5K+ resolution.
Little else is known about the phone but the tipster claims that it will support 100W fast charging, which is a major downgrade from the 240W fast charging offered on the Realme GT Neo 5.
A State of Realme’s GT Series
Realme is yet to announce a full-fledged flagship smartphone with the last one coming in January 2022, in the form of the Realme GT 2 Pro. Since then, Realme has expanded on its ‘GT Neo’ series, which has focused more on performance and charging speed.
With the Realme GT Neo 5, the company introduced an RGB LED light on the back of the phone, housed within the camera island. The RGB LED light was fully customizable for different apps and could even provide low battery notifications. We will have to wait and see if Realme incorporates the same on the upcoming GT Neo 6.
